Artist Comment

hello..

i've been drawing anime female bodies for quite sometime now, cos i couldn't quite get them ^_^' , when designing original characters... this particular reference is very prettily constructed by the genius of murakami suigun. so i hope you like it. :pacman:

Happened to catch this on mt's front page :)
Great job getting the folds in the clothes...really look like she's moving
hands and hair a little blocky in comparison but still good
good positioning of the body too
her eyes look a little flat...but that could be because they're pretty dark

keep up all the great work!

i need your shading skills mann...
anyway really nice perspective, i like it very much, however this perspective may give rise to errors, which i shall point out now..
the right arm and hand is too large, it should be smaller since its further away from the viewer... head is also too far right, seems slightly displaced from the neck... left leg a bit thin too...

Other than that... ur shading owns.. that is unquestionable... great art!

I love how you draw in about everything!
From anime to realism, you still surprise me with your skills!
    Especially this one!
The motion she's in is wonderful...........
    The wrinkles on her skirt.........
The hair flows off the back........
Her swing with the tennis racket........
    It's all tremendously awesome!
    LOVE IT! :D

Yep... another amazing work from you :)
The position of her left hand is particularly hard to draw... for me at least, hehe ^_^'
The folds go perfectly with the motion as well as the hair.
    Thanks for sharing!

T_T chisaikame chan, I have you one my watch list and I still missed this picture from you.

Well I'm all cheered up though cause another fun pic to review. I LOVE tennis so really excited when I saw this picture. The other thing I've come to enjoy is find the "chisai" sprite XP. How can one picture provided so much fun ^^.

To the review, this was a little different for me again, because this time you supplied me with the original color drawing. So I kept flicking back and forth between the two as if it was a spot the difference. And by doing that the one comment is simple if I keep flicking back and forth and don't see a difference one can only conclude that your replication ability is top notch.

But I think that's where my constructive feedback comes. There hints of it, but I'm sure you could do even more, and that is to bring some of the gods given chisaikame talent into this piece.

You teased us with shading some of the background and the mouth is changed a little. What would makes this drawing great is the eyes. You are amazing at them, and you could of given me the feel you give me in all your other drawings which show the passion this girl has for tennis. The original drawing her eyes are kinda blank of expression.

*waves* well bb for now... I'll be sure to keep my O.O wide open to make sure I don't miss your next drawing ^_^

Taku, you got a huge fanbase here... nothing here really for me to comment because I think everyone else got it. One small thing: I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but her right side of the face has cheek curves compared to the reference.

one of her eyes looks misplaced

This drawing is awesome as well. The detail is really good along with the shading. You got a fav from me. :)

  23. sharley Jan 24, 2006

I think there's too much of a shadow on the neck. Otherwise it's a very good pic !
