wow the background looks really amazing here! and the character. hmm the scan looks good here, though he could contrast more with the colorfullness of the background. anyways the font isnt really a good choice IMO. too dark reddish against the colors here. though i like the font used for "Black Cat" maybe you can use that one, but tweak the colors a bit to make it fit a little bit more.
anyways nice attempt and overall great job ^^ -

You've done a great work on the background. Though somehow, i think it's better if you remove the words, or place it somewhere else in small font. Just my opinion.
