There is a problem with the extraction (ar her hair) but I like this wall very much. This worm colours are fitting great to the girl :)

You did very well, the shades merge seamlessly and the person looking at the wall isn't forced to focus on the girl but is able to look at the whole picture instead.

That wallie is really good, i can't see any mistakes in him.
The fire looks very beautiful and real...
and the background fits so well with both characters and the overall scenario.
The scan was very very well extracted and it's so clean, very nice work with it. =)
The final touch of the "magic light fire thing" gives a good feeling of power on her.. and i really liked it. ^^
So, to finalize. Congratulation for that wonderfull work... you really improved and i'm very happy with it... now i'm sure about your talent =D

Excellent work on the background in particular (something I'm always on the lookout for) -- this image really needs to be expanded to get all of the extra details that you threw in. It's a great image to start with so that extra work really goes a long way -- excellent wallpaper.
