once again another messy wallie from me. ^^;;;
some very cool feather brushes from cirratus.org and the stone floor texture is a stock photo.
i don't know the series but i really liked the scan when i saw it (found here on MT)
i completely changed the color of the girl because somehow, i just couldn't work with the origianl purple. o_O
sorry for those of you who do know the series and prefer the original.

really nice composition...like the cobblestoney look of the ground
the background feels a little too bright though...it doesnt give enough contrast to the character...maybe if it were a darker gray (gray or green like in the character?) or there was more black
I like the feathers but they also get lost in the light background...especially in the top right hand corner...the layered effect gets lost -

This is so cute and I love the idea! The perspective was done really well and matches your scan so well. I think the scan's quality seems a lil off or I'm not sure if it was done on purpose. A smoother scan look would match the bg much better. The extraction was done and the feathers were a nice touch. Really pretty work~

A really nice wallpaper and you chose a good perspective too (based on teh character). One thing: seems that the character & the bg are...different. By the character, I mean as if the scan lines/pixels are still visible making her look a bit rough compared to the bg. Just a minor point tho'.

Oh wow! I love it! The perspective is so cool. But I am really moved by the scan. I am so into RPGs and the type of drawing and image the scan displays just captures that child-like fun in me. The feathers are such a nice touch too. Great job on this. I don't know the series either, but I wonder who she is looking for. *definite fav*
