Whheee~ Christmas is near!

Okay, sorry bout that. This time, I'd come up with an idea where I have my own characters to celebrate their own Christmas. Oh fun! ^^

So I first drew out a picture of my characters in a blank half A4 size paper, and found out that 8 people are far too much to stuff inside. So I kept cutting the numbers of people and finally decided that I'd just draw the boys out. *drawings girls are a pain in the neck*

Besides the outlined drawings, everything else was done in Photoshop. Even the background was done from scratch. No stock photos manipulations. The background was first made up of 4 different opacities' of circles and vectored. And then I experimented the filters and saved them into pictures. And chose 2 and played with filters again so they look like a wall with round paintings on it.

[Characters]

From the left, Yuasa Valance with a santa's cap, Allan Schultzwar the little cute elf, Kiro Kanzaki with a piece of glitter in his mouth and
Kazuma Ritzflail beside.

And if you've noticed, all of them are wearing red. Well, except Kazuma which has the black-red textured shirt. But still, there are some red parts in their clothings. Owh yah, if you look closely at Kiro's shirt, there's some patterns on it. ^^

Oh, before I end my crap, I'm sorry if it's only in 1024x768 in resolution, coz the original resolution when the artwork was scanned was 1214x860... so... sorry about that. >.<

Oh will i be the first poster after i finish typing this?

Anyway, this looks gorgeous, it's so rare to see original doujinshi walled that it's definitely worth a fav ^_^.
coloring and characters are all good, i'd say that you've improved in your character drawing, but without losing your own style, so it's great :). nice clothes the guys are wearing, i particularly like kazuma's coat (flames on the lower part oh yeah rock and roll baby *cough* ^_^')
now to small problems : the hands might need some work, and the characters do not really fit the bg (i mean they're over outlined, so it really looks like you pasted them on it), maybe due to a big difference between the tones of colours you used.
and kiro's position is a bit weird as well, his feet seems to be on nothing (or maybe it's on the xmas text :) )..

otherwise great job obaa san, and merry christmas to you too *hugs and kiss on both cheeks* XP

    Warm and fuzzy, together with special feelings.^_^ I love Christmas.. haha.. ^^;;;;

I've always prefered group pics, and with original doushinji characters it makes the magic in art all the more apparant. ^.^ Did I mention I love red? XD This is filled with it.. and I find your character names unique as well~

Ooooh... your originals has their own Christmas presentation, eh. So much like the winter holidays, hehehe!

I see that the color is better than the last doujins of yours, hehehe! Well, I'm not kinda satisfied with the bg but then again, it's still CooL!

go the christmas wallpaper :D it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I liked how you incorperated red into all of the characters somehow so at least they can get into the spirit and I like the pretty snowflakes. Great job Ephie :D

    Oh hello Ephie! ^_^

Your charas are celebrating Christmas... wow... ^_^ Well I especially like Kiro (with o... sorry that I wrote his name wrong last time!) and Kazuma... I especially like the texture in Kiros shirt and his trousers... looks cool! The way he's sitting there as well... :) Only the elf in my opinion looks a little bit weird... but I like that they are all wearing clothes with more or less red color. ^_^
So... I'll add it to my favs... can you tell me how you do that... the shadows are not "harsh", I mean no rough lines... but very soft. How can you do that with Photoshop?

Looking forward to see more of Kiro... ^_^ I love his blue hair with the black shadows... :)

This looks really good ephie-san! ^__^ I'm glad I didn't missed it ;) Well, I really like the way you colored it, the color are great ^^ the hands might need some work. The clothes are original and well done. Yuasa Valance is the one I like best ^^ santa's cap is really cute. Kiro Kanzaki's position is a bit weird, something is wrong with his feet. Anyway, I think you did a great job! ^__^ keep it up!

Wow, this really reminds me of the holiday mood! Too bad it doesn't snow here in Malaysia. *pfft* Anyways, the background ish very original, though the spots are a little rough. And the little elf character Allan, well, his ears doesn't look like elf ears. Elf ears are pointy sharp ^^ And Kiro's hands size are well, a lil' bigger than the others ^_^' Anyways, you can vector and draw characters out, good for you! I can't do vectors for life. It'll probably turn out into one big hairy disaster *sighs* Keep it up!
