ANIME: KARIN (Seriously we need to get a section up for that anime)
Wow...heh another wall that I've taken my time with (Honestly, not all half-a$$ed). As you notice now another new interest called Karin which is pretty funny not to mention some episodes were quite, well wierd. But anywho this wall took almost 2 weeks as I said I took my time on this with the family and all and with my buisness comming up very well its been a bit of a stressful week. BUT just because of stress doesnt mean I should stop and show you my work...riiiight? ;). Now Im not too fond with the red atmosphere here so I tried to do something new I guess being that Karin is from a family of Vampires I had to work with that.
Lets start off with the Mansion First...wow heh comming from the Haunted mansion from WDW (Walt Disney World) or I believe so :/ I decided to use this being that there wasnt so much clutter in the picture itself. It was hell (litterally) to get this out of the picture and put it on here (some places were cut off but I got some ideas to use that for my advantage). I worked on some of the most interesting areas so I can concentrate from where the light source was comming from. I also worked on some of the windows and added reflections to it (check out the top window, for one) that is up to you guys to decide how well it looks.
Karin...Ah yes the interesting female that doesnt suck blood...but makes it(?). I added the shadow to her entire area and gave it a "mysterious" look to it and tried my best to get the light source straight as well. Forgive me if it doesnt look all that good I was trying to portrait how much of her interest is in "unhappy" people and basically gets aroused by that causing massive urges to bite someone with that personality. I also added a bit more color so it sort of blends in with the overal mood to it (did NOT want to go crazy over that...trust me here ;) ).
The Background...wow...again well after seeing so many animes with nice clouds and all I decided to pull up my sleve and find out how I can make clouds on a perspective (again gomen if it doesnt look all that good) I went from continuous blurs to sharping some of them and then adding the reflects of the light source to it. The Moon was pretty sweet being that I found some interesting textures to form the mysterious red planet (Craters actually comming from cracks in the wall...yeah hard to explain but go to mayangs texture place and see for yourself). The rest of the bg like the trees and the cat on top of the mansion is from brushes and then doing AGAIN some light work on them there as some people are pointing out bevel or somewhat like that...THERE IS NO bevel and emboss just trying out some ideas on light sources so bear with me there.
Well, thats another one done *sigh* please feel free to comment on this as much as you please this was one of my bests (and hope I can continue to serve you people with my work). For now I'm going to study more on Terragen and such see if I can expand what I know about the program and use it to my advantage in Scenery.
