guess whos back back back. back again gen gen. yay! welcome back =D
anyhoo to the wallie. absolutely lovely job! the sky looks really beautiful and i like the glowy effect around the character. only thing for me is that the water looks a bit to realistic overall. but besides that nice work ^^

  6. studio Dec 19, 2005

Water is lovely Ladydear. Some of the background looks lovely. The swirls technique you wanted to learn - it`s done with the pen tool, I think @___@; Don`t rely on that though. X3

  7. Nyuu-chan Dec 19, 2005

Nice work LadyG! Background like always looks very good! And I love the scan you use ^^. Thanks for sharing.

I like the unique (blue) feeling shining from this wallpaper. It's quite a talent to be able to put such a feeling into picture. Good work!

  9. royaldarkness Dec 19, 2005

  10. nolove Dec 19, 2005

wow, wonderful wallie, perfect effect and extraction ><, the color is so kool too. surely u deserve a fav from me XD

  11. Devilet Dec 19, 2005

Hmmm, It's a nice idea, I'm glad you didn't put those swirls, very tired of seeing those. I'm not fond of the glow, and the top looks weird on this wallpaper, like it has something glossy. Water could use some work, but I like the reflection. To go into more detail; the ripple in the water you need to fix, it's going over the character, when I think it shouldn't it be right? Be careful with that. The sky should be darker in the top, to show it's night or dark.

This girl is from a H-game called 'Tradition Thing'. I only know this information cos someone I know had a sig of this image and I asked where it was from, lol.

It's not bad though, I like the scene.

Yay your back! And wow it is so beautiful! nice with all the blue.
The background looks great. I love the sky! oh I really like the reflections.
    Great Work!

  13. Kiako Dec 19, 2005

    nice wallpaper
i like the way you made the watter and all the effects on the top
    the whole sky looks great.

  14. chazuke Dec 19, 2005

I love the color effect.^-^ Great job. =D

  15. alterlier Dec 19, 2005

the blue is always a nice color for walls and this is not an exception.
and about those swirls I think you can create them using a normal shape line, then using filter>distort>twirl or using the shear and then adding some glow or whatever.
    +fav

Oh yay! Lady's back! And they are so kickass...I like blue too, darker, like in this wallie. All the effects look really good. I don't like how you outlined the character though...but the sky looks so cool. Anyway, it's a nice job. :D

  17. Milkiyo Dec 20, 2005

nice..looks dreamy but it's a bit too cloudy above and the bg behind is a bit messed up >.>
overall..not bad but the blue glow could've looked more magical==> too solid

  18. Koi89 Dec 20, 2005

you should probably get rid of that "blue toned" effect, but overall, really, just lovely.

  19. animefairy Dec 20, 2005

Wow....I love the blue effect! It matches with the whole wall! *adding to favs*

  20. bbls Dec 21, 2005

yay! you're baaaaack! and it's great to see that you haven't lost any of your awesome walling skills!
your cloudy night sky is absolutely gorgeous, and the composition here is wonderful!
the reflections in the water are nice details to your wallie, but i think the reflection of the grass (or trees) maybe need to be distorted and "rippled" like the water because those images kinda look like they're just sitting ontop of the water... ^_^'
and the blue color theme is so beautiful, as well!
    :D

  21. Chizuku Dec 23, 2005

You can try this tut: http://ningen.nattoli.net/tutorials/fairy_light_01.html.
To me, the glow around her looks very strange, and i don't really like it. the planet/moon also looks too transperant. great work though, keep it up. ^_^ +fav

Ah hey, welcome back. Sorry for the late review. Had been crazy catching up with my gaming lately.

Back to the wallpaper - very good. Just a suggestion tho' - I think shifting the girl a bit to be right would work better & gives more focus to her.
