I seem to have an affinity for dark wallpapers. Here is another dark and depressing wallpaper from me. I haven't seen much of Scryed yet, but I have a thing for Hisashi Hirai's artwork, so I just had to wall this image. I started out with just a black wallpaper with Sherris in the water and the light, but it just felt too empty so I added the background. It feels more done this way, though I suppose I am still open to suggestions on how I could improve this.

for someone who hasn't seen scryed yet u did one heck of a job depicting something so acurate to the story...it really represents what happens to sherris in the anime...great job and thanx for sharing...

I like your wall *so* much better than the original scan. It's a wonderful piece - it really gets to me, but I can't really describe how. I just can't really describe how it makes me feel when I see it. Wow. It's probably because the character is so isolated off in the darkness, with just a beam from above.
