Well, I've made another Naruto doujinshi. This is a "detour" from my
original art piece which is almost complete.
This is an idea that I had gotten while listening to the song Sadness and
Sorrow, from Naruto. I drew this up free-handed.
And as you can see, I chose the name of the song for my doujin.
The shading is somewhat rough and sketchy. And there are quite a few stray
lines.
Anyway, if you can see, I drew Naruto crying because he's alone in his life if
you could recall the first few episodes of Naruto. I felt this feeling suited
with the music I was listening to. (I'm easily inspired by simple things such as
music 
)
And the tree, it's not the greatest, but then again, I don't normally draw
"backgrounds" to my art. But I felt I should because Naruto's on a
tree swing. I don't normally do trees, so if you could, help me out with
improving my bg's please.
I tried my best on this doujin, it took me about 1 1/2 hours or so to sketch out
and another 30 minutes to shade it in.
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it, and please comment, tip, or critique my work.

the way you drew his expression is great
the bg is nice too, but the tree should have more wrinkles and leaves. you can also add some leaves falling down as if there's wind^^

I think you did really well with this piece. I also rarely draw backgrounds, lol, but I think you did pretty good with the tree. I suppose you could have added a little more detail...
And Naruto-kun does give off an impression of loneliness/saddness. ^^ You did great with that.
