Hello,

first: thank you DREAM for the great scan - Scan is by Yoshitaka Amano from his ultra-rare artbook "Le Roi De La Lune" <3 .

I really love the scan because the woman on it give me a feeling like on the times where the old legends were happening ( <-- sorry for the bad english ^_^' ) - so i took it for this wallpaper work.

Greetings,
a busy Aki xD

She really remember the old times, looks like she's wearing a crown... maybe she's a queen or a princess... anyway, the wallie is very nice it looks like an old paint, wanna fav it ^^

i agree with akira-san that your wallie looks like a painting!
your wallie is beautiful but also a bit spooky at the same time.
and she definitely looks like she could be from an old fairy tale or something!
    :D

It's so so pretty....like the title! I love how it looks like a painting. She's like a classic beauty and a ghost would come to mind...great job! :)

AH I'm so late with all my notifications ^_^'
Nice scan indeed! Maybe you should link it so we can see better your work on it.
Anyway the blending is well done, cause it all suits very nicely together.
I like this purple theme color. And I suppose you added some texture, if you have it's subtle and nice. It adds this impression of old piece of art.
    Thanks for sharing Asahi :)

Asahi! <3 I see U still cranking out those uber-pretty wallies, huh? :) This Amano piece is no different; the texture makes the artwork seem like part of an Art Museum exhibit! ^_^' Well, all of Amano's artworks are like that, but U managed to make it justice with her beauty! Way to go, Asahi! +fav

incredible, this should be a piece to enter the Yoshitaka Amano contest Arete. I think you should. This one is very good.

O_o waw. This is really magnificent. I don't know the original scan but i suppose you added the curtains behind the women ? If you did then you caught exactly the right colors and you created an atmosphere fitting the scan perfectly. And that effect making the picture looks antique is so great.
Your purple wallies are always masterpieces ;)
I'm really stunned ^_^ This is superb.
