this is very good. excellent choice of character, excellent rendering for the overall effect which gives an effect of grunge design. Overall extraction is good, center based wallpaper a refreshing touch. Simplistic design unclutters the background intended to be presented. Ah, the elegance of simplicity. I like the way the face is brought out by blending the hair into the background, in conjunction with the black top. Subtlety=Good. Plus it's centred, and plus no text! Nice one.

The colors you chose do fit to the simple background:
that way the wallpaper has some kind of tranquillizing effect. (at least to me ^_^')
