Artist Comment

All of the thousands of Gil-fans can start cheering now, because the first and only Gil-wallpaper is finally here! Ha ha.I`m almost shure that i`m the only fan, but whatever...
This took me over 1 week to make.It has around 50 layers, not counting the ones i deleted. It is all vectored and the colours are smoothed by hand, because using filters leads to loss of detail. The formula in the background is drawn by me and is completely correct by the way. I think this is a christmas wall, because the text glows golden.(not really, but i`m trying every lye to make you like it.) If you know the original scan you will notice that Gil is a lot prettyer here(i did some plastic surgery). I hope you like the result at least half as much as i do.Enjoy!

    Awesome. Dullindal was such a manipulative master and his chessboard was too slick, everybody was his pawn. Perfect background for his personality.

    Gilbert was an awesome character. Too bad he went out the way he did... he could've had a more dramatic ending if you ask me. Nice wallpaper, it really suits the Chairman.

    that's a very "dark wall" for him who's so mysterious during the 1st part of Destiny ^^
    Is the effect used for his shoulders the same that the one used for the font ?

    Thank you! I've been looking through some 60 odd pages of images, and I'm extremely happy to finally find a wall devoted just to Gilbert. *squeals*
    I'm a fan too, and I definitely appreciate all of your effort and the awesome results. But it's no suprise, because your walls are always nice. ^_^

    I've found maybe two other Gil-only wallpapers (the other two are on theotaku.com). There's too few of him. :(
