Love the sad winter feel of the wallie, the carnival idea is great as well... but then the ice surface looks too bright to fit the dark bg..

my first winter wallie. nothing much to it really and not really winterish at all except for the snow i guess. ^^;; i
don't know this series buti really like the art.
i thought that she looked really sad so the carnival is behind her and she's turning away from it. leaving behind
her happiness. winter misery. something like that i think.

very sad atmosphere and your wonderful composition really brings that out perfectly.
i really like that desolate looking carnival in the background and the grayish color theme you used here because they really add to the mood of your wallie.
but some of the subtle colors you used for the snow were a really nice touch because it helps break up the gray tones of your wall.

I think from going from light to dark is too contrastive. The bg is awesome but I think the area where the girl is walking is a lil bright. Maybe toning some of the colors down would match her coloring and the bg's. Her footprints were done really well. I think the one on the farther back should be a lil smaller. The extraction of the girl was done amazingly well and I like the abstract sky. The bg creates a really nice contrast to her style of clothing. Really nice work! Good stuff~

got a nice grungy abtract feel to it... and I think that bg looks very bass.

I normaly don't pay too much attention at the "most favorite walls", but yours really caught my attention, especially the colors. I really like this kind of greyish colors. And the texture in the background is just very well done.
You chose a nice scan, I agree with fukushuusha about the footprints being in a weird perspective, but I don't have the impression that she (the scan) stands out too much of the background. Colors fit just so well...

I totally loved the scan and I haven't actually seen somebody walled it until you did! And it looks fantastic! The glowing snow on the ground just gives a mystic and dreamy effect! It looks sad in the same time too! Good job.

But it seems that, her steps on the snow are not suitable...... I mean, they seem not real >_< But the land is very great ....... love it >_<

So sorry for the late reply. Been crazy playing MMORPG lately.
Anyway, I love what you've done here. The bg gives a sense of desolation, & somehow kinda morbid (I'm thinking of something like horror games or something like that) + sadness. However, the character gives contrast to the bg & instead transforms the bg into something light. Nice mix of contrasting elements.
Excellent work here.

hi! the shadows(i guess) of the snow have some weird tornasol colors, the rest is OK, i like the idea of her leaving her happiness behind and the carnival looks pretty cool and darkie too;) the other thing i like the most was her footsteps u did them with the depth effect :)
