Everything was made by hand (well, mouse >_>) except for the little soda can there (which was found through google), which I added for no reason O_o. Overall this took a couple weeks off and on, and a total of around 80 layers.
I hope I got the perspective right... I'm sure this great image has been used on better wallpapers by more skilled people, but I just had to wall it when I saw it ^^.

Edit: Adjusted the ground a bit, changed the font, and desaturated the grass and soda can a tad due to helpful suggestions ^^.

WOW, this looks impressive. It must have taken you ages to make that bg. It's really very very nice and it fits the scan of Athrun so good. I think many Athrun fans are going to faint :) I'm more of a Kira fan, but this I like it very much. Fantastic job ! You've surely earned my fav !
