we all love the helpless lolita pose, ne? ..so i made one.. ^_^' ...this came once again from the wellsprings of rknight1's collection of shoujos... >_< (i just love this emoticon!) hehe..
to those interested, i'll be a bit more elaborate on the style i use...
this is the initial stage of the drawing...

after i'm somewhat satisfied with the proportions and the relation of each element(?) to each other.. (eg. head to shoulder, hair, shoulder to lower porpotion of body, etc.) i start making more details from the upper left corner diagonally down - this it to avoid as much contact to the lead as possible... (although i think it's cool to have your hands dirty that way...ehehe) ^_^' ...personally i think what makes an anime so nice to the eyes is because it is faithfully 3dimensional... that it has so many similarities with realistic drawings... that makes it so awesome, too.. so that's what i do >.<

I'm not much of an artist.. but those who know me... I like to put a lot of heart into things I like... so here goes *stares at pic for a bit, and closes eyes as image is burned into his mind*
*BAM* wow, that was fun XD... shading wise it's plane to see and everyone agrees that you excel at it... to me even though there is so much going on it's again the eyes and her expressions that capture me... to me she's lying down on her bed... and staring at her hand.. but it's what's NOT there that she is looking at... some sort of locket or necklace that reminds her of the one she loves... so I dub this picture "memories of my love" least that's the name I'm saving it as ^_^.
Well again thx for sharing your work... it's "Candy" for my imagination XD

I think that after reading what shinsen said, there is nothing left 4 me to say.
I love the grated u used to define volume, it's my favourite way to describe it.
It's a wonderful draw.
