the effects are nicely executed.
i would suggest that the bg colour change not be that extreme, ie the top part being a really vivid indigo while changing to a very light purple.
try to make the colour gradient more gradual.

also i think the chinese should be removed because it really clutters the wall up too much.
maybe moving the name nearer to the main title 'Bleach' and removing the glow would help to neaten up the whole wall.
overall its a great start for your first wall.

TGreat work! The color modification works really well, undoubtably the best Yorouichi wp that I have seen. I am going to be using this as my wp for a while I think.
