Probably needs some shadowing here and there, but I like your concept of just being in a coloring mood and coloring away
=D I also like how you made the background match to her pink dress. And it even has some green in it matching it further
to the drawing ^^ I think Izumi looks ready for a night out in the town ^_^

Well... I decided to try some colouring on Photoshop, so I got an old drawning, scanned and added color to it.

About the colors, well, it was just a try >.<
And about the character itself... I know that I have to improve -_-
