Well, it's about time I do a wall =P
This one actually took a pretty short time because I just grabbed some things
from previous walls and mixed them in. The vegetation in the foreground was a
bit weird at first, but after a few adjustments and lighting, the results were
satisfactory. Why texture? If you guys have watched the movie, the sceneries are
truly magnificent. The Japanese greenery makes the movie so....'earthy'. So I
just found it appropriate to apply an 'earthy' texture to this wall =P

Cool! really good wallpaper! The background is so good-made and effects are good too ^^ .. add to favs
beautiful composition...
i luv the scenic background and how well you integrated your stock photos with the scan.
not only did the earthy textures come out nicely, but the colors also give a natural and warm look to your wallie.
the fog also adds a nice touch.
Mononoke's my favorite. Great job!
yay! i really like it! ^____^ nice wall, highkness ^~
Looks like the first Mononoke wallpaper thats been made for MT, good job. The image looks a bit fuzzy but i wont hold the scan quality against you. I really liked it but after reading your summary i think that it would look more interesting with more green, regardless its perfect the way it is

woh~ this is one of the nicest mononoke-hime walls I've seen ^^ great job on toning dn the rich colors that ghibli always uses, such that it matches the BG tone so nicely *thumbs up*
Looking good!
Thanks for an excellent wallpaper!
Wow! I've been looking for a beautiful Mononoke Wallpaper for a long time, but no one really showed the anime atmosphere as well as this one!
Good job highkness!
Gotta be my wall of the day ^^
I love the smoky feel this wall gives. The thick mist pervading the forest below really gives this image depth. Also of note is how you blurred the tree and shrubbery in the foreground, drawing ones attention to the subject of your wall. Your extraction is very good, but some of those black outlines are a bit too thick in a few places, in my opinion. All in all, this is a very good wall. Keep it up.
Sugoi ! Kawaii ! ^__^
wahhhh!
i love mononoke hime! this is such a nice wallie you made.
:nya: mononoke hime is one of the first and favorite anime movie i watched that got me into the whole anime thing. ^^ i love the clouds in the bg. and the tree branches sticking out. very nice composition again.
It's beautiful! The scan works perfectly with the background and the overall composition is simply breathtaking! This is definately going on my desktop ^-^
You've captured the mood of the movie perfectly. I really love the composition you've created, it feels really natural. Beautiful work~, especially since Mononoke Hime was one of my favourite movies.

i luv this movie!
very lovely wallpaper....I really love the forest artwork of the movie...one of my favorite anime movies.
nice job
Oh, wow... I absolutely LOVE the lighting on this... I think it's very original and gives it some kind of sentimental effect... Augh, I don't know what I'm saying, I'm just rambling now... Anyway, this is great, kudos to you! I love the 'faded' effect also.
