Welcome to Subaru's last shred of sanity! The torn paper here is the metaphor for his disintegrating soul. In the original scan, the words to the chant "Kyrie Fons Bonitatis" is printed next to him. This is the music for that him. Loosely, kyrie fons bonitatis means "God, fountain of goodness." The chant is a prayer to God to be merciful. Something Subaru needs, ne? Scan is from Random.
