Here you go. I know some people want me to make a bright wall at least one time so this is it. I just finished watching
Gundam series and I really enjoyed all of them.
Especially the storyline really impressed me. I am not a huge mecha lover. But gundam really impressed me. All animation
quality and drawing style is quite good.
Anyways...I like Shinn Asuka the most in the series so here you go. The ones who watched the serie ll slightly recognize
the place I assume. I tried to give the impression
as if he is in Orb...but a destroyed one. A mix of my imagination and series. XD o.k I won't give any
spoilers...*cuts the crap*
Well...for people who wouldd like to know. This is not a complete stock or anything. There are 7 images on the bg which
were manipulated and blended.
2 scans used including Shinn and Impulse. And...also not a fancy sky this time. Just a plain sky almost without any
clouds.

The buildings in the back are awesome, I love that part. The way the Gundam is cut off is awesome and the scan is great. The fog seems a little strange, but other than that, great job!

Well I like the scan and the way how they looks slighty a soft tone / noisy but..
not that it's bad but I have to say i'm slightly disappointed, with your potential you can do far better then this. -

I love it! =) Great job on the background, and the gundam placement and Shinn, looks awesome...like he said the fog is a little weird but it's still ok. I imagine there wasn't a full image of shinn so you had to make it look like there was. Good job.

waaahh.. >_< saki likes it! just the fog is a bit TOO heavy... lighten it and spread it around so it wont look like a white brush stroke.. the bg still looks a bit too reall.. >_<

nice blending of the BG and the anime foreground *thumbs up* the nice misty/cloudy effect in front of shinn helps too, plus the fact that he is for once not looking too angsty in a wall ^^

great wallie fuku-san! ^__^ I haven't seen the gundam series but I want to ^^ I really like the atmosphere of this wall. the fog is a great detail and I really like the effect that it gives to the whole wall. The scan is well chosen and the city is very well done, looks very realistic XD the images blend really well ^^ I think the sky is beautiful, the colors are great and I really like the two planes flying ^^ the clouds are really nice. ^^ I think you did a great job! :D

Like I said I really like destoyed setting so this wall is really my kind.
And I forgot to say on the comment... you did draw a subtle texture on the sky? Anyway it works nicely :)

every picture tells a story, and this is all i can say, it perfectly depicts the feeling of shinn and his machine, wonderful, and proud in a sense, yet carries a sense of misery hence your appropriate title. Loved the mist under the legs, the great effects in the wall is amazing.

kinda agree with Saki, the fog is a bit too much. but the background is nicely done...the rendering and the blending are really good...
even tho i haven't watch any of the Gundam series, the mood u created here is great. the bg matches well with the scan.

Oh Fukuu-san, ur work never let me down >_< I just think you should make the scan of that warrior a bit bigger and make more detail like explosion effect in the sky ^_^ But that is just my opinion, you still take away a fav from me >_<

Ermm... How should I say this? It's just too breathtaking.
There's still some thing that is rather disturbing though. How should I say this... everything is crammed to the bottom? It makes the top left hand corner very plain. The text is placed really well, but I think *emphasize on the think* that it would be better if you could place it on the left hand corner. But that's just me XD

this is a great concept to have a destroyed city as your back drop.
and i think your idea to have a simple sky was a good one because that offsets the lower half of your wall, which has a lot going on.
i also really liked how you added those two jets in the sky...nice detail!
but i agree with kyubinaruto that perhaps the text could've been shifted to the left corner to give your wallie a more balanced look.

Nice! Love the concept of the desolate city. And I like the contrast of the sky versus the city--peace versus destruction. But I do also like the idea (whether itentional or not) of having the left hand side of wall a bit empty---plenty of room for the desktop icons to be put ^_~

You never cease to amazie me Fukushuusha. The rubble really adds to the effect of the destroyed city. The city doesn't really look like ORB though but I guess there's no city in the world that is like ORB. Also, I like the noise effect in the sky to make it look polluted. The only thing that i would change on this wall is the airplanes. I don't think they use that kind of airplane is the gundam world. Maybe a Murasame would be more appropriate?
