The girl in Shakugan no Shana has flaming hair and stuff and I have been wanting to try my hand at creating a fire from scratch in photoshop so when I saw this scan I was like have to try!
I hope you all like it any critz welcome! I will tyr and improve on fire!
Edit:
I have taken out the flowers on the side that people did not like!
I also took out black lines around the bottom flowers it looks smoother and blends better with then fire that way!
The Fire I remade and tried to make it look more fierce and looking ready to swallow Shana up!

hmm, in my opinion the flowers don't fit too well with her and the fire, it's prolly part of the scan but oh well, that's just me
Also some of the string appears to have been erased, some lines need erasing on the right hand side
Extraction could've been better in a few places, it might've been better to up this to the sandbox for critiques before uploading here
Scan's cool though, but to get the scan to fit the wall better, you might wanna remove the flowers, or make it look like they're burning, or change them into flames -
nice concept with having her surrounded by flames!
but the scan seems a bit grainy and perhaps could've used some cleaning.
and you did a wonderful job making those flames.

The fire is well done, although it could be a bit higher ;)
The quality of the scan is a bit poor but the colours are looking right :)

well~ the border of the character didnt suit well~ Perhaps a black bg isnt so gd. try improving it by add some stuffs like fire to fill the page but in a way that it seems to be in the middle or something

Nice flames. I even liked the flowers But I do wish the extraction was better (as some have already pointed out). The outline is very uneven on the right side with the flowers. those screams to be cleaned up. Either remove the outline entirely or, if you're up to the challenge, paint them back in yourself.

hey, with or without flowers, it still looks awesome to me. nice choice of a scan for this type of background. this background makes shana even hotter (no pun intended...well...ok...pun intended).

Very Good picture. You could have made her hair have sparkes coming out of it like in the anime to make to more of a flame type ssetting as well as the sword.
The pic is still great though. Good job.
