ahh, this time again i used terragen, THE freeware landscape generator, to make this wallpaper.

i used a beautiful transparent png mae by Honey at http://projectzen.com/ and available at http://www.aethereality.net.

The title is, i think, quite explicite about the mood i intended to create.
as far as i'm concerned, what makes this wallpaper shines among my humbles creations is its colors harmony.

it gives it a soft, dreamy mood and the gorgeous anime character (if someone knows what anime it's extracted from, tell me :D) fits perfectly in the picture.

sorry if i was a little too enthousiastic about this wallpaper but, despite being quite simple, i really love it.

i hope you'll feel the same ! ^_^'

Beautiful wallpaper ^^ The water looks amazing, so real. Really good work, though I'm not sure if this wallpaper look even a bit better without those mountains in the sea. Anyway, this beautiful bg matches this cute scan perfectly. Thanks for sharin ^^ *adds to fav*

thanks for your kind comments !

truth to tell, i'm not sure either about the mountains ;)
they were mainly here to provide reflexions in the water (which are now hidden by the cg character)

the bg isnt terribly original considering you used a software to make it.

i think the wall needs a bit more detail in terms of how the scan fits into the rest of the scene. i know the colours match and all but maybe adding some sort of balcony railing or something might improve the concept cause you leave too much to consider when looking at this wall.

the sun/moon is a bit too harsh on the eyes as well >__<
overall its nice but it can use a bit of touch up

Amazing! The scan and the colours are great. Also the background is looking fantastic :)

thank you all for your feedback !

    > kai81220: i'll take all advices you gave but i don't understand what you meant about the bg not being very original because it was made with a software.
i mean, there isn't any original bg if you think that way: it's always made with gimp, photoshop, .paint or every other sotware that comes to mind.

you don't create a landscape in terragen by pushing a single button in random.
it takes time and imagination to render the kind of landcape you want ;) .

as i said already, what i like in this simple wall is, indeed, its simplicity.
i admit the bg wouldn't worth much as an original terragen creation... it just fits the cg.

as for the balcony, i think you're right, it could have been a good addition (i'll definitely think on it) :)

heheh you have Terragen too! I know how this program is difficult but if you try, you can do it!
humm background is very good but I think it dont fits with the scan cos the girl looks floating on ocean and sun looks so blue/green... maybe you should fixed this things better... but I know you will make wonderful wallies if you pratice more! then, keep it up!
