Artist Comment
Inspired by Butterfly, the infamous DDR track by D.J. Mystic (I think). (*^~^*) I'm inappropriately enamored of this song - I used it for my latest FMP: TSR AMV, but even having listened to it a bazillion times, I still love it. My imouto runs screaming from the room every time I play it now (which isn't a bad thing, mind you).
I actually had to do Yuya separately, since I just couldn't seem to get her hands and feet right in the small version. And yes, I know, the sakura's an overused motif on my part... but I love it so. The hardest thing to do was that f'in bird! He came out a lot chubbier than in the manga, but then, it's supposed to be a cutesy doujin, so blah. (I'm not an ornithologist, sue me.)
Next up, I'm doing an Akira x Tokito pairing, not because I've suddenly grown fond of the pairing (or Tokito, for that
matter), but because I believe in equitable claim to bishonen. It wouldn't be fair to let Yuya have all the guys, even
if I am and always will be a card-carrying Akira x Yuya shipper. (*~.^*)

Wow, a whole wall made from scratch. no scans or stock. The sakura tree in the back is rally nicely made! I think the sky could be a bit less plain though. If you could bring out the clouds more, then it will be nice.

This is so sweet and I liked how the fairy and the birdie are interacting. The birdie is absolutely adorable. XD The chubbier, the cuter they become. In my opinion anyways. ^_^ The birdie does feel a lil out of place between the characters since it's more softer around the edges. Yuya's wings have that same look as well. But that's probably just me. Kyo looks good and still look nonchalant in comparison to the fairy and the bird. His hair looks great. The sword's hilt is amazingly detailed. Great work there as well. The bg looks good too. Really nice work~

looked these in wrong order XD anyway this one is really wonderful too and maybe like this one little better than the other with akira and tokito. background is pretty, cherry trees fit nicely with characters ^_^ that tiny bird is cute and like the way how girl is smiling for it, gives such a happy atmosphere ! thank you for sharing this gorgeous work too :)

It seems like sakura has become one of Sylva's official trademark in doujins. ^^
Well, the whole piece is really peaceful and calm. And to think that Yuya has become Kyo's fairy... that's really... sweet? Although she looked better in her Japanese clothes. I like the details on his katana's handle. And that bird on the sword looks adorably chubby and cute. ^^
But somehow I think Kyo's face seems a little... strange. I dunno what's wrong with my eyes.... *hangs head*
But overall, it's a neat work. Good thing you did Yuya seperately. I think it really must be hard to squeeze them all in one. ^^

Yet, that little bird is sooo cute :3 more than in the manga XD... we'll just pretend Yuya overfed it XD and love Yuya's wings and her dress... weird, Kyo doesn't look pissed <.< ok, ok, stopping the jokes, very neat drawing, and you're right, you use sakura's a lot... oh well, if you like it, there's nothing wrong with it XD
