o.k...this is it. Here is my crappy looking DERKA (http://po-taters.tamashii.org) submission. I don't know how to
describe this wall actually.
The thing is; this is probably the most annoying scan I ve ever used. It's not because of cleaning or anything...it's
just I couldn't create something original I guess. Hyung Tae Kim style is not my thing that's for sure.
I ve tryed so many bgs for this one...scenic, abstract and stock images with different perspectives.
But this is the final result which includes both stock and weird brushes including leafs and textures.
I have no idea about the characters name or ability. But she is like a flower right? X_x well...I think she is more like
a bee
or something thx to this wall -_-; yeah; she is a bit small but whatever. This is probably the best I could do with this
scan.
Ahh...o.k this is more then enough...I am not saying anything more.
Hope you guys like this more then I do.. -_-

uh magna carta isn't my style either, but considering this you did a very good job. i guess you already know that i don't like stock photos, but the scan fits perfectly to the flower and the colors are pretty. i'm not too fond of the font but the overall result is awesome. luckily i'm not versing you haha xD

Oh, but it's so preety...well I have noticed you never do use stock photos at all, but this time...oh my, but it came out absolutely beautiful, I think it has a gracefull feel to it ^_^

Love the title! It matches the wall. Love the scan! It too matches the title and your concept. Great choice in scan. Great in positioning the scan. With the way she has her arms seems she is blossoming forth from the flower and expressing her love for Spring. Nice concept! And interesting with the grainy effect too. The texture is perfect. Love it! ^_^

I think you managed to do something quite cool.
The flowers and petals are nice in the background, I really like the texture you did overall.
I don't like the scan so much, but the idea of her in the flowers is pretty cool.
It makes me think of the story of the little girl in the flowers I read when I was young. Her name was Poussette... don't know in english... -_-

anywho, even though you hated working with this scan, you still managed to pull off an amazing wall!
i also think that you came up with a fitting and clever concept by using the flower stock with the scan...which makes her like a bee? XD

but u matched it with the scan quite welll!~
the only thing that i don't really like is the font.....it doesn't really match with the rest of the wall.

I thought you did a really good job with something it sounds like you had difficulty with. I agree, Kim's style is a little weird for my taste (too shiny and big thighs) but I like the flower theme in this and the overall layout of the wallpaper. Great job!

For somebody who said he doesnt know how to work with Hyung Tae Kim style.. you pulled this one off nicely :D I seriously <3 the concept of the wall, and the way you managed to blend in the scan ^^ pretty unique, and intriguing :D the only thing I cant agree with is the type of font that you used >_<
