Ahh, i love the Magna Carta's art so much ! :nya:
i was quite disapointed with my previous wallpaper which, i realized, was quite crappy so i decided to finish this one.
It was created with terragen and ulead photoimpact and i used a wonderful png file from http://lostreality.kylosa.com !
i like the unreal landscape and the way the clouds seems to rush through the sky at great speed.
i hope some of you will like it as i do :)

The "unreal" background is fitting very good to the character. The movements of the clouds are really wonderful. :)

the tool used for created the landscape and generating the clouds is terragen, a wonderful freeware landscape generator that you can find at http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/
i strongly encourage those of you who want to create landscapes to try this gem !

It's a beautiful wallpaper.
Two minor nits: the extraction on the left upper arm edge, end of the dress and lower legs seems a bit rough; it looks as if there is an outline around those parts.
Also, the lighting on the character is only possible if there is a mirror standing in our viewpoint; the side of her face facing away from the sun is illuminated, not shaded. I don't think that is solvable in the wall, though, and as I said it's a minor nitpick.

thank you, ptptn, for the feedback ;)
concerning the character, i used a png file which i didn't extracted myself (it's way better than my few attemps at creating png or psd files) and i didn't try to dify it (in fact, i only realized about this problem when i saw your post).
i decided to illuminate the character and not to shade it mainly because i thought it would make the character stand out too much out of the picture but i do admit that the lightening of this wall is a bit strange as it is.

I'm a big Magna Carta fan too. I agree, the clouds rushing is very cool. I wonder who this character is, I am playing the game and have not encountered her yet.I really like the sun on the water, very nice. Very clean too.
