Mmm.. First of all I want to start off by saying that the character in this image is from a Series that sort of branched off from Yu-Gi-Oh! The series is called Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, or Yuugiou Generation Next. The character in the wallpaper is named Ryou Marufuji (Japanese) / Zane Truesdale (Dub Name).
Onto my personal comments~ I found this scan sometime last week (..or was it this week..), it's really rare to find any GX images right now because the series is still pretty new. I saved a bunch of the scans I found, including this one, to wall someday. Well.. over the past couple of days I've been in contact with another Yuugiou fan, and talking to him gave me the motivation to make a wallpaper~ I chose Ryou/Zane because.. well.. because he's my favorite bishie from GX ^^;
I know this wallpaper looks simple, and possibly not the best quality from what people are used to seeing from me.. but believe me I did the best I could do here. The image of Ryou/Zane was already decent quality, I just had to blow him up a couple hundred pixels and viola, a 1280x960 wallpaper. Cleaned him up then it was time to decide/think of a background. I really wanted to put the lighthouse you see him always hanging around in the series behind him.. but I couldn't find a single image of that lighthouse anywhere, not even a screen capture. So then I decided if I couldn't have the lighthouse, I want the next best thing; the school.
The only picture of the school I could find was a teeny screen capture. It was all I could find, so it's what I had to work with. I fixed up the school, then decided because it's in the background.. it should be slightly blurry, right? When you focus on something everything else around it tends to blur. I added in the clouds based of a very pretty sunset/night time-frame I saw last night on my way home from running errands.
lastly.. about the bushes.. I had *no* idea what to do with them, but I found I liked the effect I gave them a lot.. you guys may not like it, but I do so.. ^.~

If you are looking for a beautiful wallpaper then you should look no further than this one. I think the only problem that I see with your wallpapers are that they are FAR FAR FAR under rated at this site. Most of your work is gorgeous but people would rather rate "cleavage" walls higher. Anyway, not that this discourages you, just my personal opinon of the way people rate on this site. I guess nothing you can change about that, but your work is still beautiful none the less. ^^
*stares* Ryo-kun~ *melts* We like how you did the moon, it softly glows ^_^ And the trees are beautiful too. It actually makes the school look like it's 3-D (or was the original pic like that *scratches head*) Hehe but it's a cool wall. We like it. ^-^ Not that many YGO GX pics like you said (a shame cause I'm starting to like it more then YGO right now, probably because of different characters >.>) Ah... Ryo-kun *glomps* ^-^ But overall we love it! ^____________________^
Nice wall, Even though i dont liek the new Yugioh GX series since its school based and kiddie for my taste so anyway i like the bgackground and the way the character goes together but i wished i could have seen another one like this but iwth an abstract techy bg melded into it but good stuff nonetheless!

is really good. The only problem I have is the building is kidna blurry.
