This wall actually began with Meyrin in it, but since I figured there are far more Athrun + Cagalli fans, I should make two versions. So, I uploaded the Athrun + Cagalli version here, and the Athrun + Meyrin version is here:

Onward to info about the wall:
I vectored Athrun, Cagalli and Meyrin (in her version) from three different scans. I'm really proud of how Athrun came out especially, he doesn't look like a vector to me. The Cagalli image was chosen because of two reasons: lighting fit the image, and her pose fit the image. I did much more outlining than I normally do, but I like how it came out.
The background was a play off of the ending where all the characters are on the beach at sunset, but I wanted the angle to look "naturally" distorted so that you could see up into the sky and past the clouds into space. The stock images that I manipulated are all from Stock Xchng (http://sxc.hu).
Other than that, I played around with filters and painting and blurring, and used some textures from DA! (as usual, I love those textures).

Cute scan and pretty background
The font fits in quite well also, and the whole thing actually makes it look better.
I don't know why but i can't imagine what is the real meaning of this wall +__+.

i like the idea of the walls. so i'm going to comment on both walls.
the vector is quite good. but i think both cagalli's and meyrin's vector need to have a clear outlines between their faces and their hairs. and meyrin's hand looks really really weird. x_x
the textures also need to be lighter just a bit.
but this is preety good. so i'll fav this. :)

Very nice. I like the effects on the characters. The colors are kind of muted and it goes along well with the background image. Really, a very nice job. I also liked the one with Meyrin. But, I gotta say I prefer the Cagalli-Athrun combination...

This seems to be one of your best walls thus far.. the sky appears to be divided into two different portions which are the two different destinys; whether it is the crimson red and orange of war on Earth or the clear blue sky of peace.
The concept is really well thought out and your vectoring above all is to be praised. I like this version more as well, not just for the pairing but also the overall emotion which is important.

I'm a fan of both pairings actually. ^^ You should have posted the Athrun/Meyrin one too, so I could add it to my favorites. Lol. And to give that couple a little more support... well, I would have anyway, hehe.
But I actually like the way the Cagalli scan fits better than the one with Meyrin. Maybe you should try making her larger or something.
Anyway, awesome work, I really loved it. I'm going to use it for my background. ^~ -
