i definitely like the way you worked out the color scheme on this one.. the red definitely gives the landscape a beautiful but dark feel. i'm not familiar with this series, but the scan you chose goes with the background really well with the flowing cape. on a side note, i can agree with too much shakespeare in school - i'm consistently spouting off hamlet lines from studying it so much.

Oy....me again with another wallpaper. I think this is the first one of my wallpapers where I don't have the title as part of the picture...I tried to, but it made everything look cluttered. I think this is also the first wallpaper that actually looks like what I had envisioned it to be at first. Most of my wallpapers, I think up something, but then they end up looking way different when the final product is made (which isn't a bad thing). But in this one, I was like "Yah, there's gonna be that weird dude with the flowing cape standing on a road that leads to this castle in the distance...."
Most of the scenery I made myself, except for the castle, some of the mountains, and the cross, which were stock images. Took me about 5 hours. There was a whole bunch of leftover layers...I'm kinda messy when I make these ^_^'.
So, this wallpaper features Ephidel from "Fire Emblem." The title is actually a line from "Macbeth" (too much Shakespeare in school!).
And I want to dedicate this to Rhonda21, because she's cool like that, yeah.
Go ahead, leave a comment to criticize me >.<

Great wall, the colors are suberb, I love red, and the BG is very well done, great job! Only thing is the sun effect you put on the left top corner, kinda take away the dark/bloody look of it, and the resolution is kinda small, nevertheless, its a great piece of work, keep it up!
