Really beautiful wallpaper ^^ I like dark wallies and your colors are really cool. The bg fits quite good to this scan.
    Thanks for sharing ^^

It's a good wall, I especially like the lighting effect on the trees.

    Not bad ...
BUT you didn't extracted the character fully : look at his hands ;) I know it's hard and not enjoyable but a full extraction will always made walls better look
The background seems a little too blurry or I would have made a whole effect of painting because sometimes you bg looks strange...

  4. Idril Nov 12, 2005

nice! blue and cyan colors are just pretty and the girl is cute too! You just should extract better the scan and work more on background... it is a little blurry...
anyway here hava a pretty composition! keep it up!

  5. lunaregina Nov 12, 2005

Um... why did you copy the title and text design from my wallpaper? There's NO WAY they both happened by coincidence.

Fantastic work. I love the colours and the glowing effenct. I don't think that the wall is to dark. It's great like it is now ;)

great job on the wall love the lighting effects with the character. the character artwork is from a game called Mabinogi

  10. Kiako Nov 12, 2005

    the wallpaper is nice
though there are still some things that look a bit disturbing, like some of the circles there that aren't white-blue like the others. and there is one thing that is very disturbing and that is that one can see through the girls hair like one can see her clothes and hands behind her hair, but one can't see the trees trough her hair and that is very bothering. and so at her head the hair, well the colors there arel ike there would be somethign behind her hair, but not the tree, somethign else.
and the shadows of the text are disturbing.
and i could suggest to make some more trees on the left and the right end of the wallpaper so it wouldn't look that dark nd empty.

Very cool use of effects and colour which also adds a very nice mysterious feeling towards it. Hope to see more :) Adding this to my favourites. Thanks for sharing :D

she is from the Game Mabinogi I guess ^^

wonderfull effects and blending, nice one :)

  14. yoshball Nov 12, 2005

I really like the lighting effects that this wall paper has. The light source from the bottom and the seemingly accurate way that it lights up the rest of the scene. I also really like the trees. Great job!

  15. yueki Nov 12, 2005

wow! no idea what character or series this is either but great image to use for a wallpaper! it'd be great if you can get a bigger version out but i'll still keep this ^^ i love the colors!

  16. obsidianwings Nov 12, 2005

nice work! i like the glow that seeps from the bottom and encompasses the image as it goes up... the background is very creepy and dark but pretty at the same time... they look really tall because of the way they seep into the glow. i like the glowing circles and the way you portrayed the girl as both peaceful and lonely/lost at the same time. great wall!

  22. jtchen85 Nov 13, 2005

A simple but well done wallpaper. The lighting is great

  23. Akira-san Nov 13, 2005

It's pretty nice, colors, scan and background fits very well! Anyway I think the extraction is nice... on the hair I'd say, the hands needed more work.
Just don't liked the title "ripped" from lunaregina's wall... there is other titles which fits better in this wallie then "Forest of Fate".
