Okay, after a long waller's block, or rather having no time to wall at all, here come's Haibanei Renmei, which
I just finished watching. I know the scan might be overused but I just love it so much. I adore Yoshitoshi Abe's
art, another reason to make this wallpaper. The hiragana says "Kore wa watashi no namae dewa arimasen" which
translates to This isn't my name. Green is an awesome color. Well hope you like. There are two other versions-
Slightly lighter:

Really cool work with texture.
And the colors looks nice I agree.
I just think the hair need to blend a bit more, like fading a bit in the background. It would been nice. I just have the impression that the outline is too clear....
I like grunge wall! :)

Yay! Another Haibane Renmei wall. Did you like the anime? I just finished watching it, too, about a week ago. I thought the ending was sweet. I see a lot of people walling this scan but I understand why because it's so beautiful. I love Yoshitoshi ABe's artwork, too. You did a great job on your wall. It's got a grungy feel to it. Thanks for doing different versions of it, the blue one is my favorite. I hope you do more Haibane wall in the future. Great job! A fav for me! :)

I love the heavy texturing and shadows on everything. I think it really brings out the style of the artwork. The heavy, intense dark green is also a nice touch, it's not a commonly used shade, which makes this more original and interesting. Good work!

I really like the wall--very evocative. In the Japanese in the corner though, "kore ha watashi no namae de ha arimasen" a wa (as in wa wo n) got mixed in for the second ha/wa...
