My first wall here at MT3 ^_^ Hello everyone! *waves*
I adore the time era of the Victorian/Gilded age in our history and I was moved when I saw this scan. So I wanted to
incorporate it with a background of that time. "Gilded" was a term given by Mark Twain about the time period
when many great fortunes were created and the way of life the wealth supported. My favorite place is that of Newport,
Rhode Island which houses many famous Gilded mansions of the wealthy (and filmed great movies like the "Great
Gatsby").
"The Marble House" is one of those mansions and which I chose my wall to be based on and so I like to give
credit to the Preservation Society of Newport County. As for the scan, I found here at MT.
As for the wall, I have made it a while ago, but decided to finally submit it in. I had to fix the scan a bit to fit the wall. And I gave the entire wall a brownish/gold hue with some texture (graininess) to offer an antique-feel to the atmosphere.
So please enjoy! !

I too love the Victorian/Guilded Age.
