Story behind the character:
This is a character in my manga. Her name is Asara ( props to OracleAngel for the name) , but where she lives, when
you are born tattoo's of wings are painted on your back. They become permanent
and when one becomes of age, they become real wings. Well only one of her wings
came in, so many treat her unfairly and harshly because of it. She is forbidden
to show her face, and must wear a mask. As well as a certain device that
restrains your wings. People who wear as such have comitted crimes or are being
punished for certain doings. So they wear the device on their wings. I kept her
naked, because it demonstrates the 'beauty' she wishes she had.
Details
I at first gave her sketchy rough looking wings, but I decided to go for a more
realistic feel. Was having also a time with her hair. Didnt know if I wanted it
short or long. So I did both. I had a lot of fun coming up with the device on
her wing. It took me a while coming up with a tattoo design. But I like it.
Well thats all. ^^ Enjoy

Wow, there's definitly an interesting concept to this picture. Sound like a really cool manga idea. I see all the elements you described in the picture; the wing tatoo, the wing restriction device, and of course the mask. I like th elittle details. ^_~ I think the nudity in this pic is done tastefully, it serves a real purpose. Very nice submission, thanks alot for sharing it! ^-^

she reminds me of saikano dunno if you have seen the aniem but it dose i love the tatoo on her and the pose seems so ahrd to do respeect is due

Hmmm just browsing around your userpage and I found out you have done a really interesting drawing. I must say that the thought you have put to the character is great and well plotted, I'd love to see that manga you are doing
). But the thing that I enjoy the most is that you have portraited that
"shame" burdening her for not being able to develope both wings, with
the mask, the restriction device and her pose... everything works smoothly 
The design of the girl to match your story is absolutely gorgeous, everything about her and I like that you have used a gentle shading but it still results into a nice depth definition. I love the idea of her having only one wing and the tattoo design also (I'm a sucker for tattoos

None the less, the K-Chan is a magnificent drawer. I'm glad you left it the way it was... I noticed you shaded in the rest of the tattoo on her back. That's a nice touch too. ^_^ Good work, as always.
