Came across with this scan one day...and
wanted to make it in a wall.....so i made them move away from the pool...and to the field...haha
had to clean the scan up a bit..and change the color tone in some parts...
the sky is a stock photo i got from sxc
a bit of brush works...little texture..and here it is.
i love the phrase:

Wow gives me that certain feeling of loveliness and care, since its all about friendship but my only nipping side of this wall is that the hair extraction looks jagged, you should have outline it with a pentool and the whole wall will come togehter beautifully.... nice text and Great job as always! :P

i luv your concept here about friendship, and the composition is very lovely!
you did a wonderful job in integrating the stock photo of the sky with the rest of the wall because they all blend together so seamlessly.
i also luv your field because it reminds me of a painting.
the scan was a perfect choice, but it doesn't blend too well with your background because it "sticks out" too much, i think. maybe gaussian blur would help?
overall, fantastic wallie with a great concept! :D -

A nice and maybe awesome wall. The background is excellent. the characters suit the background thanks to your effects/brushes applied. The ONLY thing that this one will remain just under the line PERFECT is the character extration: looking at the hair etc, I see it's pixelised, to much pixelised. Hell. Anyway, a fantastic one. ^^

i like the subdued tones you used for the wall cause it looks almost like an era passed.
but i agree with OA, do a quick trace outline and itll be awesome cause the scan is a bit pixelly at the edges.even though nice stuff ^____^

This is a fantastic work. The sky is looking great and so real. I can nearly feel the changing of weather. I also like the fields and the horizont with the few trees. A new fav for me ;)

The title is perfect for this wall. It looks like two best friends spending time together. I like this background much better than the pool. You did a great job with the background and I really like that text on the wall. Great job!

Very nice atmosphere. The color and lighting works great and the overall image is wonderful.
On a nitpicky side, though, the girls' outer edges look a tad too hard compared to the rest of the wallpaper. -

Nice: soft, idyllic, pastoral, it looks like a painting. The rows of flowers especially remind me of an impressionist painting. Hm...the girl on the left's free hand looks sort of strange ::like it should be resting on something:: but I see that it's sort of free-floating in the scan too so...

There's still a couple of rough edges, but they're not too bad. Maybe redrawing a small but solid border around the whole scan would have helped but--- too much of a pain. XD
I've always admired the way you make your foliage; beautifully done as always. One of these days I'm gonna have to get you to show me how to do that. ;)

Excellent background, oddly reminds me of the old Wizard of Oz movie with the fields in the background and old photograph feel to it. Overall great theme. Added this one to my favorites.

Btw, I love that phrase of Hellen Keller >_< the background is really very beautiful. And everything blends very well. I think you did a great job! ^^
