This is a wallpaper featuring the anime Bleach. It was done in Photoshop CS. Image was fixed up with Neat Image. Photograph was taken by me at Himeji Castle in Himeji, Japan.
I recently got a new computer and what better way to break it in than to make a wallpaper! It is the first wide screen resolution wallpaper I have done for myself, so I wasn't really sure where I wanted to go with it. I had two goals in mind: use my personal photographs and keep it simple. There are many incredible details in the photograph, so I wanted to bring them out. The sunset coloring really does the trick and keeps it soft enough for an eye-pleasing and soothing wallpaper. I added the black bars after seeing it on one of the wallpapers that already came with the computer. Plus, it makes it look a bit like a movie.
I hope you enjoy this wallpaper as much as I do!

Yeah great job on this wall. It is a soothing wall, i just wished i had a widescreen monitor. I guess can always hook up two 17 inches and make it wide screen.

Interesting idea with the anime+Japan photo concept. I think it works very well, although my only complaint is that I would like some very stark text somewhere on it, just the anime title would be fine. But that's just my personal preference...nice work.
