I like the vector. You get extra points from me for the vector being of Najica of Blitz Tactics.
Only thing I don't really like about the vec is the nails. They seem like you got tired of color at that point.

This vector was drawn using the scan http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/73961/ as its basis. Thanks to sillymoogle for posting it. I really don't know much about Najica the anime. In fact, I've never seen it. I just saw this picture in the gallery and thought it was pretty interesting so I downloaded it and decided to vector it.
I have tried to adhere pretty closely to the original scans colors but I did make a few minor changes here and there. The gun was the most complex portion of the image due to the many shadings that I tried to use but it did teach me a couple new tricks for making my own gradients. Mimicking the wood grain of the rifle stock by just using vectors didn't turn out too well so I simplified it to the brown that you now see.
Program: Vectoring done in Paint Shop Pro 9 (better user interface for vectoring than photoshop CS2, in my opinion).
Any and all commentary is welcomed and encouraged. Thank you.
Note: If anyone wants a version of the vectored image without the text, green background and dropshadow to make extraction a breeze just send me a private message or write in my guestbook.
