this is very interesting. Not like your normal style. However, I like the polaroid design. The water drops add a nice effect to the wall.

I began this wallpaper without any idea what I was going to really do. I loved the image of Kagura (from MT), and I knew that I wanted to do something without a landscape in the background >_< It came out quite darker than my past walls, but I think it fits the mood well.
The first thing I did was extract Kagura. To do this, I followed the tutorial at Imanimetions.net, which worked really well I think compared with my previous extraction attempts using the lasso tool.
Then I found a stock image of a Polaroid at Stock Exchange (www.sxc.hu), which I manipulated a LOT using blurs, lighting effects and blending options, as well as utilizing Photoshop's warping tool (fun!)
The rain droplets were made using a great tutorial from Photoshop Support.com (http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/cb/water-drops.html). I kept the majority of the droplets to one side to allow room for desktop icons.
Lastly, I applied a texture from DA! (www.desktopanime.com).
Comments appreciated as usual. :)

I like the water drops effect you did to the wallie..
hmm.. maybe it just me..i think she's a bit look like the girl in Paradise Kiss..>< -
The photograph look is slightly overdone, but what you did here looks really great. Good choice of image... great use of colors and texture. The waterdrops look kind of strange though... something about the shapes, maybe, made me wonder if they were transparent leaves when I was looking at them in full-view ^^;; Nonetheless this one's beautiful... you make really nice wallies XD I remember your After Impact wallie from AP XD Do keep up the good work! *^.~*

Nice wallpaper, but it would be awesome of the polaroid would float in a puddle.
Or are these droplets only tears from someone or really rain? -
Just great, I got into this show and have found very few walls to go with it. This one holds true to the stories feel.
