The blending is done pretty nicely, and your background is really soothing. ^^ Maybe a few taints of green here and there would make it more ethereal, though, and I suggest using the gaussian blur->overlay/multiply trick on the scan to make it feel like it has more depth and to improve the quality a little, perhaps. Nice work on the overall!
