Here is my entry for the the Underappreciated Contest #7 [MAD SCIENCE] a homage to the manga "Pretty Face"
Since Pretty Face is only in manga form and I don't have many color pictures, I figured I'd keep this wall black and white with a few muted colors so I have Black, White, Purple and a Dull Gold to accent it. The idea is Dr. Manabe (I think I recall his name correctly) Is boasting about his mad science when he gave Tough guy Randoh plastic surgery after an accident using the picture of the girl he liked as a guide.

You certainly got the mad scientist part down to a T, with the scientist laughing maniacally in the foreground and a twisted formula. I also think that your chains of squares int he background serve to accentuate the theme, as somehow they give a techy vibe. At the same time, I feel you may have gone a bit overboard with those same boxes, as to me they may have stepped across the line from accentuation to clutter.
Regardless, it's a great effort nonetheless!

Hmm... I am looking through the UA7 Wallpapers... I can see the scientist in the front... yes... mad scientist but what is the rest? People he is thinking of? And why are there all these different frames? It has something of a collage but I cannot see how it forms one theme... It's rather like you were simply showing some parts of a Manga...
Maybe it would have been better to stick to one frame... and I can see + + =... are there mathematic calculations going on? *lol*
Well somehow it's funny... it makes me laugh but I don't really understand your intention! You are describing it a little... but without the knowledge of the manga ... I don't really understand... *lol* -

I love this manga...it was too short though. Hopefully it becomes an anime series...BTW the manga is Pretty Face....Check it out if you get the chance people who read this.
