I wanted to do something with blood red and black at the beginning of this wall and I ended up with this. I aimed to make the Rei picture and text as contrasted as possible over the red and black BG, and I liked how it turned out, but I don't feel the whole wall is finished... nor do I feel i can add anymore to it. I guess I'll have a sleep about it. Anyway, enjoy, and for different sizes goto otakurepublic.com [once it re-opens...].

    your background is great still, the colour dont match wit rei, try something other than red and black they are overused classic

    Well i really like how the styles match - the grunge background and the sketchy picture of Rei. The typography is also superbly done, it fits in perfectly (I always seem to have trouble with text). I understand you were trying to contrast the character image with the background, but still, in my opinion it doesnt look all that good (mainly Rei's blue hair and the background.) Apart from that, it's a nicely done wallpaper :)

    Great work, I love it! I think the background colour goes very well with her eyes, I like it :-)
