funny how we both think the same...
in round one we both did the smoking theme for infatuation..
then for round two i was thinking of making gits2 bilboard...anyway i read the judges comments but i disagree that it is too simple.
I love the way her hair is done and how it is highlighted by the tech shadow.
overall great representation of the complexity of the real and virtual world of gits.
one of my favorites for round two.

Haha... well... *re-reads judges' comments for drell* I can tell you honestly that there was almost no consensus among the judges for this round as to which wall was "the best," so you shouldn't feel too bad. I think it comes through in the comments for lots of people =/ I haven't seen the series, so I can't comment on the need for a more complex background... I like the style of the vector though, and I definitely think that this is one of your better walls. *^-^*

DCout~i agree with DC. i must confess that i viewed your vector [in ful mode of course] before i read your description.
sure this may not be the most complicated vector ever created but i love her pose and the composition. it fits the "cyber world" in which GITS inhabits.

actually the simplstic style here is nice cause its just....well minimalistic XD really like that vector as well.
the tech outlines are done great. maybe adding more hexagonal cut outs could add to the plugged effect.bar code = nice! XD
really like the idea of the bars going through her hair.dont be so harsh on yourself cause judges are only a small portion of the audience. you still got the rest of us to give you more feedback ^^

Read the judges' comments. Haven't watched the series, but either way I agree with DC. I think the minimalism has a more "digital" effect. LOL, think I just repeated dream. XP

drell ish the vector king *bows* *goes fetches some tea and admires* i thought it was one of the best adverts on round 2 too ^_~ i love the strange but interesting texture u put into the hair its very creative ^_^ and crazy detail on the eyes *drools* the shadow effect is also cool xD doot doot i love your work xD *bows* again deserves a fav ^_~ i think ur one of those artists who deserve much appreciation but dont get it =[ *shouts out drell's name* *cheers* *spills tea* nuuuuuu T_T hafta clean that up
