The search for the Philosopher's Stone continues! Wallpaper Travel Edition. XD
It was hard to estimate the two point perspective based on the characters alone. But I managed to find them to the best of my ability. From there, I drew all the architecture you see, except for the 2 Lion-Dragons which I took from SXC. The temple ceiling is actually Michelangelo's "Last Judgement" painting whicn I UBER distorted. I love how the water turned out. Plus I couldn't really settle on whether to make it day or night. -_- I'd appreciate constructive comments (and faves? XD) on this wallpaper which took me 3 days to finish. Enough with the details and hope you enjoy this wallpaper! ^__^

wow... wtf... your work seems to be getting worse and worse.
The second from bottom step overlaps the other. More so than that... the characters do not fit the background what-so-ever. It looks poorly thrown together...
I understand "you're busy and don't have time" or whatever I was told before, but you should really look into making quality wallpapers before you diminish your name; these aren't up to your normal work.

i like the ideea for it, the whole concept but the water there makes the temple look like it would be floating.
the bg kinda gives it a sci-fi feel.
and yea..the perspective must have been really hard to work on...but hey!~ it looks good.
imo tho..the stairs to the temple kinda looks like they are floating on top of the ground. maybe u blurred the ground a
bit to give it the far-perspective-look, thus the stairs shouldn't be so sharp looking. The leaves around the
column look unnecessary.
other than these, i agree with you, the water looks lovely XP

shinta! where have you been???? lol, lookin good, but i think the texture on the roof of the building may have been a bit too strongly shown. tahts all i can see! :)
I think this is my first comment to you. The stairs do look two dimensional if you take a really close look at them. They require that extra line to make them seem as if you could walk up them, but that would also mean extra work to do as well to make the step up visible. I know that the reflection of light in the water is from the crystal or whatever it is behind the pillar, but I believe that the reflection is a bit too bright; less toning of that brightness will improve the look of the wallpaper as well. Another thing is the surface of the building. The water shouldn't be that thick so that you could see some of the underwater areas of the building. That's all I could point out for now, but knowing the artist you are, you'll fix the flaws up really well.

I like it excpet the fact that the water seems flat for some reason, maybe some more splashes here and there and the empty part at the end of the wall on the right hand side seems it needs something but noentheless the images and bg comes together. Nice job! :P
