Two in a series of Kino novel chapter illustration wallpapers. I present one of my patented "Tama's Twisted Ideas" -- an anime wallpaper with no character! What a concept! This features the artwork from "Kanojo no Tabi -- Chances" (Her Travels: Chances). I just really, really like the atmosphere of this image. The stark, tall, forboding buildings shrouded in rain contrast with the hope that soaring white doves embody. Beautiful scenery. I think the black-and-white-ness of the original image made even more striking -- there is no color to dilute the strength of the picture. A quick trace (getting all those jaggies and the windows drawn was rather painstaking) and then added some rain (getting that to look right also took a little patients) and there you have it.

    this one looks great...
the fading away of the building....wow @_@
and yep!~ the B&W makes it look a lot more dramatic.
This one must have taken a long time to vector...the details of the window, the architecture..
    awesome job!~

Thats very wonderful. Its too stark to sit on my desktop, but as a standalone piece its quite nice. Reminds me of art from the 20's.
