Time Taken: a good while. 5 hours maybe. i'm not sure. Doing this one in between re-CGing an Air scan from the
artbook.
Again with the magic! I can't seem to get any other effect. Maybe it's because the scans I'm using are so suited to magical themes. Anyway, I really like this one because the background is good for my standard and the effects are quite nice. Re-used many of the brushes I had in my Ragnarok Online "Flight" wallpaper here: http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/184959/
I can do different colour themes if you want. It's just an easy change of one layer to get, say, a sunset effect...
Hope you like this one. Comments and opinions greatly appreciated. Help me get my wallpapering better!...

From a sheer technical standpoint, I like what you have done. Belldandy blends with the background rather well. The color pallete you chose for the bg works well with the colors in the scan. I like how the clouds have a good sense of texture. They don't seem flat. The only thing negative I have to say is that I just don't like Belldandy.
