heh, yeah i got the chills and it was even before the whole thing loaded. when i saw the word alone on the floor and accidently scroll down too fast you can get 'em chills. the colors worked out really good, i love that. nice work

great idea shifting the focal point from the foreground to the background- since the viewer is left to wonder what lurks in the shadows there and i suspect it is not looking good for our lady...

Yes, I know this scan... Unfortunately I don't know Gilgamesh but when I saw the original scan for the first time I tried to find out more about it. Sooner or later I would have tried to make a wallpaper out of it... but now you were first and ... yes I also think that it looks better than the original scan.
It's definitely different from what I once imagined when I downloaded the scan as a possibility for a wallpaper...
I also like how you added the letters into the image...

I feel the sadness that you have created in this. The atmosphere is very lonely indeed, and I would say your endeavor has been successful. I am not sure if I should congratulate you on this or not though, hmmm ;-). Perhaps I will only thank for you this piece which fills me with emotion.

This is good, dude, very good. It's pretty, sort of haunting, detailed, etc. I don't like her mouth... it ruins it for me, it's that horrid... I dunno, it's just too darkly outlined I guess, it was fine in DREAM's scan... but other than that, this really has a great atmosphere to it.

i love the contrast of light and dark. the sense of loneliness is well executed from the gesture. although it's a flat picture, the texture really gives it more depth and personality. the gate/ post on the bottom right also gives it more dimension. cool wall~~~

i like it, kinda gives a ominous and death feeling, kinda like me when i was in Grade 10 but in my own mind. ANyway lovely use of space and colors. Great job! :P

What can I say? I just always seem to get really atracted to darker emotions and this walls portraits so many obscure feelings that I find very appealing... and as I downloaded it I just fell in love, thanks for this awesome piece!!!

Although I don't like this style of wall, I must say that this is really well done. The hint of grunge is great and the colours match perfectly.

Seeing the base scan gave me chills, but your vision of the art is even more disturbing. I meant that as a compliment, you managed to highlight the emotions that were overwhelming to begin with.
The sole thing I could complain about is the font (I don't think the style fits here very well) and placing of the title.

Wow!!!! I dont know how you did it but I do want to know too. I've seen the scan and it isn't as dark as your wallpaper. Your wallpaper looks more "alive". Keep up the good work. Mind if you can send me a tutorial on how you did the 'dark' covering this girl?
