I made this wallie few weeks ago for a friend, she loves purple and she liked the wall pretty much. I need also to write something for her here... Luvs ya, Makie-sama! Hope you like the idea xD
Well, about the wall
It's quite simple, I used a scan for background (again, I know) which I found here in mt, but I didn't
remember who submited it, anyway, thank you for this nice scan.
Rei scan I forgot where I found, it was so much time ago hehe.
I think both scans fits pretty well and the atmosphere of the wall is cool... I liked the final result in this wall and
hope you like too ^^

Great work you have done.
The background is really nice looking it is so nightmarish and twistted.
It really is great background to Rei. Those purple fires are good looking.
All that darknes and dark colours make the subject sounding resonable.
Of that light coming from window is great too.
So the wall is very successful. :) You have done nice work.
So keep it up in future too. :) -

:o nice, a very good and dark wally but the scan is amazing and the background as well.. and it reminds me of Haibane Renmei (the background).. i think you did an awesome job in this wally .. everything looks great and keep up the good work.. :D :D

haha i had the same thought as mineharu...the background is from a Haibane Renmei scan, it's Rakka's room XP
it fits quite nicely with this scan ^_^, giving it a eerie mood.
IMO, I'm not sure about the effect u've added to her.
with the bg and the scan looks kinda like a painting...the effect doesn't really fit with the rest of the wall.
nonetheless, it's a great wall!~ *alone in the dark* X_x -

i love the dark sensation it gives, like she is coming from the dark ^^
Nice composition, you mixed the two scans perfectly, I'm not too sure about the effects at the bottom, I think it would be better if see was coming out from darkness, for some reason it doesn't seem to fit in the atmosphere (in my opinion :P) but it's your idea so it's fine ^^

Wow! Very very good wall you have here. I like the dark atmosphere and the dark shadows surrounding Rei... like if she was hiding something or wanted to hide in the darkness herself. Very good job!! ^_^ Adding it to my favs!!

Hey Akira-san, You have out done yourself. I want to congrat you on such work. The colors of the wall is outstanding they match with the character's mood and features like her hair color. The mood you made in the artwork, the background, the affects areall wonderful. Its lie they were all ment for this wall. Wonderful artwork and good job. Terrific job with the dark ambiance, and the Rei fits in so well with the background *^-^* Kudos for you on that. I'm not sure about the purple abstract flames surrounding her though, they seem kind of random... and as some people have pointed out, the font needs work =/ it looks a little too cute for this wall. Otherwise... a nice wallie ^.^ Keep up the good work!

ah, I love Rei's character so much, and this wall suits her perfectly: dark, eerie, lonely, etc.. truly beautiful work and it's lovely just as it is, but I think it might look even better if her hair were a pastel or brighter blue shade, just to add a touch of contrast to all the dark colors. I'm always all about contrast, contrast, contrast though, so that's probably just me. ^^; Anyway, wonderful job; I love it! :)
