first off...i know the character on the left is totally off in every way
possible....like perspective, proportions stuff like that
but i was too lazy to rub away stuff and change them cause i lack space and i
was lazy...
now...on to his story...
Character's Story
Reito...
An ex-captain of the 10th devision...he was banished from Seireitei for trying
to kill Ichimaru Gin
During his shinigami years, Reito had a twin brother, Reiki, who died at the
hands of Ichimaru Gin during a battle which he claimed he had killed Reiki by
accident...
Reito who did not believe Gin's story, decided to seek the help of the captains
but was rejected
Taking matters into his own hands, he decided to train as hard as possible and
become a captain, then he would kill Gin and avenge his brother.
Finally, after many years of training he finally became a captain and attempt to
take Gin's life.
However, he failed and was thus banished...
Later on, as he roamed the lands of Rukongai, he loses himself in random battles with hollows and various bandits and shinigamis he comes across. Having lost all sanity, he traded eyes with a hollow just for kicks O_o he now wonders Rukongai...desperate...lost...and devoid of all hope
Zanpakuto
Katakiuchi...
which means revenge, is the name of Reito's zanpakuto.
This sword is held like a gunblade, but does not shoot bullets or the like...
It's black body can cut anything and seems to have a life of it's own. It can
morph into any shape, but Reito seldom uses this ability as he still prefers the
sword form.
The trinkets on his sword can either be removed at will or can morph into
anything, once the black blade of Katakiuchi slashes the opponent, it can morph
into daggers to inflict more damage
Bankai
Jibun...
or oneself...is the very image of Reiki, exactly how he was before he died...
This bankai may be small compared to other people's but he is just as deadly.
Eventhough, this bankai may seem to be just like any oridinary shinigami, his
skill is equivelent to that of a captain or any bankai out there...
He can also restore Reito's former age and looks as how it was before Reiki
died. This confuses and enemy and makes the battle much easier for
Reito

lol as said above...pose of reito...totally wrong and out of proportion...i
admit it :P
i know i over did the crazy black thingy for the outfit...-.-
BUT IT'S THE STORY THAT COUNTS! (lol bad excuse)
anyways, i don't know how the name characters...lol i know reito's bro has the
same name as a previous character...but meh...*STONEZ*
i need to go sleep now...the medication is making me woozy

well i agree with you that some of the proportions are a little off, but still, a very nice doujin CoolBlueX-san! you did an especially great job on the small details, like the sandals and the gauntlet on the right arm! i also really like how you designed his zanpakuto! great job overall!

All in all, a great doujin!
Well a lot of good came from this one. It really inspired me to do a shinigami for the contest lol. You have my thanks for that. But onto yours. Well. the one on the left is not entirely out of proportion, just a tad bit. And I also get tired during the process and tend to mess up, kind of like yesterday, I kept dropping everything I touched >< But If you start to get tired, rest and sleep. Then start again the next day. It always works for me. But back to the shinigami. Your story seems a bit thrown together, but its understanding. The Zanpakuto and Bankai are pretty good in names and design. And the character overall is pretty good. Overall its a big effort. Keep it up

I kinda like the guy on the left though. O_o His outfit is lil more original and that has I like his gunblade. Makes me nostalgic of FF8. Haha~ I like the style and the aloofness or worldliness and it really matches the story. This is really getting intersting. Nice work~
