A new series, with Keiji Gotoh character designs. Or maybe the same deal as Kiddy Grade and Uta~Kata, where Gotoh is directing and his wife, Megumi Kadonosono, is actually providing the animation character designs. I like it either way.

    Just thought I'd add that the girls names are Chrysalis (older) and Cocoon (younger) and from what I've found so far it's not a new anime (at least not yet) but a story serialized in Megami Magazine. It's a gímik project so as usual script by Kimura and illustrations by Gotoh, unclear so far whether or not Megumi did the actual character designs but it's probably safe to assume that she did.
