An elegant composition, created primarily in the inspirational light of passion and featuring outstanding artwork by the Fan Art illustration team at Solid & ETC - Hellsing: Black Romance is at the forefront of very different Hellsing artworks. Having received much kind praise after the creation of Hellsing: White Hunger, Black Romance follows much in the same footsteps by way of design and composition. Our primary illustration here features the highly renowned vampire, Alucard whose relaxed pose and disrobed state is rich in masculine sensuality. One's attention seems to be drawn to those alluring eyes whose wine red colour hints at his inhumanity. Such is further insured when one catches a glimpse of those fangs simply peaking out over full lips. The delicate arch of the nose and fingers are particularly alluring as well as the slope of the shoulder. The cascade of dark hair is likewise beautiful in it's set. Over all, the attraction to this illustration is the unquestionable beauty and all the classical romance that is interlinked with the tale of the vampire. A very subtle, nearly erotic look for Alucard sets this artwork a mile apart from the rest.
Secondary artistic composition for this piece was surprisingly minimal. The original illustration was left mostly to it's own devices with the only major changes being the illustration's over all lighting which was softened to a warm, candle-lit glow for lighting reminiscent of a bedroom. Colours and textures collaborated with green and black tones. This work features multi-layer brush work and moderate CG-SFX for a simple yet classical feel.
