The Bleach group has a shinigami drawing contest. You have to come up with your
very own shinigami.
Since chibikko gave me such a warm invitation, and because I thought the idea
was rather neat, I decided to enter. I'm surprised I came up with something so
fast.
Name: Shiramura Reikka (don't let the flat-chesteness fool you, she's a girl
:P)
Zanpakuto Name: Kyouboku (means tall tree in Japanese).
Short backround: All her life, Reikka was teased for being short and being
physically strong. When she saw that shinigami came in all sizes and ages, she
was determined to join. She trained long and hard, but was never really good
with her sword....when he Zanpakutou reached shikai level, it transformed into a
spear almost twice her height. With it, she combines her speed and long range
attack to strike quickly and keep the ennemies at bay. She wears a thinck
gauntlet on her wrist to block sword strikes when the ennemy gets too
close.
Tadaa.
I decided to make her a little tomboy-ish with the way she wears her kimono. I
should have a coloured version by the end of the week.
