Well it's really a good sketch and the shades are really alright they look good for a more five minutes drawing project but unless it tooks like an hour or so lol XP *joking*

Good job, the shading does need a little work, if you go for a slant in part of the shading you have to carry out the same slant throughout the picture. If you want to avoid that burden you can 2-way crosshatch (again keeping the slant of the two directions the same on all of the picture) or you can multi-direction crosshatch(four or more directions) and it gives you a lot more lee-way. If I want a area of pencil shaded without variation, I use a tissue and smudge the pencil lines away... this technique works well if you have crosshatched the area lightly with pencil :d... I tend to drone on about art, but I hope that helps. As always, I can't wait to see more!
